Contract Management - Part Time

Due to our continued success and growth (we were recently named one of the top 10 best performing job sites on the web), we are looking for an experienced individual to fill our part time Contract Management position.

About The Role

The primary focus of the Contract Management role is to assist the CFO in the end-to-end contract management process for our client agreements. This is a position that blends contract writing skills, contract language knowledge (particularly around licensing of data) and internal and external communications. The qualified candidate will either be an attorney or someone who has acquired the knowledge, experience and ability to understand contract language and to write more straightforward contract language.

This part time position will report directly to the CFO, work closely with our external legal counsel, may have some client interaction, and will be a key member of an awesome, dedicated team (of course we're biased) working primarily on LinkUp's data business – a part of our business growing at triple digit growth rates. The responsibilities of this role can be accomplished by working from a home office and hours may vary from week to week due to incoming workload (roughly 10-25 hours / weekly).

Key responsibilities include:

Assist the CFO in creating and executing client agreements
Draft client agreements using templates and alter language as needed for the specific products and services requested
Review red-line changes received from prospects, make recommendations for a response and create a new red-line documents in response to clients requests
Work with external legal counsel as needed
Communicate with clients and prospects (as appropriate)

Skills And Qualifications

Prior experience working with contract management and agreement language
3-6 years prior experience in reading and writing contract language
Exposure to licensing agreements a significant plus
Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Quality focused, high attention to detail and responsible self-starter
